end of year BJD tag 2021

 Yo! Charlie here. 

So I'm doing the End of Year BJD tag that I saw earlier on YouTube, done by Teeny Tinkers. Here is her video. The tag was started by Bublebeelove100. 

I tried filming a video with my response but it came out terrible. I tried it 2 more times and it still came out terrible. So ok fine. I'll just start a blog for such things.

    So I thought I would show each doll's pic one by one and say a little bit about each. Here they are, in no particular order:

Dollfie Dream Yukino V2
I think I named her Yuko
Outfit from Volks. Wig from Leekeworld.
Her outfit is from Volks and has super inspired some character/story ideas.

Dollfie Dream Miko
I named her Yumiko. 
She used to wear a Dollheart school uniform but I want to restyle her, just not 100% sure how.

Doll Chateau Bella white skin
I named her Trinket.
Outfit from Swan20Designs. Wig is Monique Gold? Shoes from Doll Chateau.

Leekeworld Valentina head on Mystic Kids body. 
I think I named her Julia?
I wanted her to be a spooky haunted doll inspired in part by the proportions of a Blythe (Big head, small skinny body). I haven't been able to find the perfect outfit for her.

I named her Alice.

I think I'm going to name her Ume.
She's wearing a Glitter Girls outfit. She's very easy to shop for!

Pants from GuluUP. Shoes from DDE. Shirt from eBay a loooong time ago. Hat from milkandhoneyBJD. 
I just love this guy so dang much. I hope to get him a new faceup in the new year.

Fairyland Littlefee Madeline tan skin
I named her Madison but I keep confusing it with Madeline
Her clothes are from Foxybrowny/Wimukt. Wig from Leekeworld.
She needs shoes for this outfit and a better fitting wig and I'd like to give her some nice brown eyes.

Myou Doll Gina, coffee skin
Haven't named her yet
So the Leekeworld wig in her size fits very poorly so I'm going to try to get a Parabox wig. Also I think Tonner Tyler shoes will fit her. Her shorts are Rainbow High and her top/tights are from a curvy Barbie Extra.

Myou Doll Nuan Nuan
Haven't named her. 
She was a comfort purchase because I received some not-exciting medical news. Longer Rainbow High tops fit her like a (slightly loose) dress and I have a pair of Blythe shoes that fit her.

Dollzone Cosmo
I named him Alex Redd. I just call him Mr Redd.
I modeled him partially after a friend. I haven't been able to find a good wig for him all these years. Tempted to change up his outfit.  

Doll Chateau Olivia. 
I named her Bones.
Whole outfit is from Toad and Thimble. Wig is from Monique Gold.

2. How many doll videos did you make this year? 

    I think I made around 10 or so but I end up deleting them for various reasons. 

3. What was your first video of 2021 about?

    It was either a Rainbow High or Ruby Red Fashion Friends unboxing video.

4. How many pictures (on any site or medium) did you take/upload this year?

    66 on Instagram, that's counting all my dolls.

5. Show us the first picture of the year.

I got Trinket new eyes from EraFlora that were supposed to be green but they obviously look yellow. Ugh. 

6. Tell us the best thing that happened to you, in the doll hobby this year.

    Getting back into my dolls, especially BJDs has been the best thing that's happened this year. I had a disconnection from them years ago when I moved away from my dolly friends, it was so bad I forgot details about them! It feels good to get to know them again.

7. Tell us the worst thing that happened to you, in the doll hobby this year.

    Not having real life doll friends! It's my fault, I haven't seriously sought out real life friends for maybe 6 years or so because it seems every time I make friends I have to move. So I'm just not trying anymore.

8. Show us your three favourite things you got this year.

    The pants and shoes Charlie is wearing + this awesome Connect 4 games I got from TheDollyCottage!

9. What is your new year’s resolution?

    I want to get all the things done for my dolls that I mentioned above (faceups, clothes...). That's all I can think of. I'm not big on resolutions so we'll see.
